We recently had new floors installed and are slowly replacing all of our living room furniture. This is the first piece we purchased, and I assembled it by myself. The small screwdriver included with it eventually gave me blisters, so I switched to one we already owned. Attaching the top piece was a little tricky at first, but once I realized it was easier to lie on my back underneath the table to insert the screws, the rest was easy. It’s a solid table and looks great. I work from home so it’s been nice to extend the top of the table and use it as a desk while catching up on TV shows. I am editing my review after a couple of days of use and “sitting” with our purchase. Pros, I like the design element and details of the piping along the front and rear of the table. It gives great movement. I like the fact that the table has large storage space and functionality. I like how large the table is. I don’t care that the table itself doesn’t look or feel like real wood. It looks like particle board and has a hollow sound when you tap the top of it. It also wears fingerprints easily so I am going to have to constantly wipe down the table. That is why I gave 45 stars. My package arrived damaged, with pieces falling out and a few pieces were messed up, but since they were on the underneath side I decided to keep it since the box is SO heavy! The table feels very solid, it’s larger than most coffee tables I found and it matches my other furniture perfectly! It is a lighter oak so if you’re looking for the “warmer orangey color” this is on the lighter side but matched my end tables and fireplace perfectly!
