It LOOKS nice. I like how it looks like real wood with texture. But it does feel inexpensive. I wouldn’t necessarily say flimsy but it’s definitely not a solid wood. It was a VERY easy piece to put together.. Hannah. Sat Aug 29 2026

This platform bed layers clean lines with tailored upholstery to bring a sleek, contemporary look to your space. It's crafted with a solid rubberwood frame that supports your setup, while the padded headboard features foam fill and linen upholstery for a clean surface. The button tufting introduces geometric symmetry across the front without disrupting its streamlined form. Center support legs add stability, and the included slat kit means there is no box spring required. Plus, the finished back allows for versatile placement options throughout your room.

The bed is beautiful and sturdy. It was a little bit of a pain to put together but got it done in about an hour. The fabric is quite yellow however. And the wood is definitely warm. My one complaint is it’s pretty low to the ground so I can’t fit my under bed storage and I can’t fit under it to retrieve cats. I’m debating on risers. Because of how the bed is designed they could have drilled holes several inches higher on the headboard and made the legs longer. Just two inches higher would make like easier. And I feel a little like I’m sleeping on the floor when I lay in it. Cat and cat bed for scale and side of frame to show how it could be taller in the pictures.. Shelley. Salt Lake City, UT. The Marenzo is built on a single decision: that genuine craftsmanship deserves genuine materials, chosen for their character rather than their cost. Its defining gesture is a headboard woven entirely by hand, each column of natural paper cord gathered and knotted with unhurried precision. Beneath it, every slat is seated to eliminate creak and movement, so the bed holds its stillness as reliably as its form. It is offered in two woods, each with its own voice. The Light Oak is dressed in veneer drawn from American oak imported from the United States, finished with solid oak legs turned to a refined taper. The Dark Walnut is dressed in genuine American Black Walnut veneer imported from North America, with solid Black Walnut legs turned to match, so that from veneer to leg the material speaks in one uninterrupted voice. Because both woods are real, no two frames ever share the same markings. Whichever you choose, the Marenzo arrives as something quietly, irreducibly its own.

This is a nice sturdy bed. Keep in mind that the walnut is more of a cherrywood, and the cording on the headboard is much darker than it looks on the website.. Chinel. Houston, TX. Tue Sep 29 2026

The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. Some reviews mentioned that the walnut color had a slight reddish cast to it, which is true, but it worked well with my already existing furniture. Well worth the purchase!. Amanda. Millersville, PA.
