This bench was exactly what I was looking for. The color was as shown in the pictures. It is a beautiful, deep mahogany with no scratches, cracks or other issues. It is a good size for my entryway — not too big as to overpower the hall but big enough for two to sit comfortably. Very sturdy. I put it together on my own in less than two hours. Everything aligned well and the instructions were easy to follow. It is a great value for the price. I would totally recommend it.. Kat. Georgia. Sat Aug 08 2026

Looks in great condition. Fits perfectly. Seems like quality material. The only thing was that the basket on the bottom is black black. In the photo it looks more brown. But I’m pleased.. Mark. Thu Sep 24 2026

It has storage if you life the seating area. Some of the pieces came nicked and scratched but I got a partial refund for the damage. Overall I’m happy and have purchased other items from Wayfair.. Surprisingly, easier to put together than I anticipated. Really solid. Not only is it a beautiful piece of furniture, but it also provides ample storage space with two cabinets. It's the perfect solution for storing shoes, blankets, books, and more.

The good stuff: Looks as shown in the picture. Not difficult to assemble. Very solid with high quality paint job. Fits well in the space where I wanted it and with the shelves in place can store about 8 pairs of most (flat) shoes behind the two doors. On the down side: 2 of the hinges were very tight. the pre-patterned places to install one of the doors was slightly off so the one door looks uneven and does not close properly with the magnet. the fabric on the cushion is very chintzy- I will end up recovering it (which is not a big deal).. The Glenn 50 inch storage bench exceeded my expectations in both quality and pricing. I needed the storage for our winter hats, scarves and gloves to have at the ready when venturing out in our northern Michigan winters. I have always called these “deacon benches.” The sizing is generous holding so many items. This would literally work for a family of 6. This is true to size fitting into our foyer exactly as advertised at the 50 inches in width. (See photo). The wood is solid and without blemishes. The finish is a shiny dark brown color. This is solid and strong and does not wobble. The bottom of the storage area is a thinner wood and is rated to hold no more than 30 pounds. My husband assembled this in just under an hour. The small included Allen wrench did not fit the screws so my husband used his own Allen wrench. My only critique is that the included wrench did not fit. This bench is a quality item appearing rich and elegant in my home and I am sure to receive compliments.. Debbie. Gaylord, MI. Fri Oct 23 2026
