Very sturdy bookshelf. Definitely a two person assembly job (unless you’re a man with sufficient muscle power) but once it’s up, it’s not going anywhere. The whole thing really is solid wood except for the back, but even that backing is much firmer and sturdier than your average cheap bookshelf. Highly recommend!. Kelly. Philadelphia, PA. Not great quality, but it serves the purpose. So glad we paid for assembly, as it came in a million pieces and even the installer said it was difficult to put together. It looks decent enough. The armoire is solid wood which is great for the price. It is solid ,looks nice, and the assembly instructions were easy to understand. However the doors did not align properly and the center strip that covers the gap between the two middle doors was way out of alignment. We were able to adjust he doors and center piece enough to make it look ok but there are still small gaps between the doors towards the bottom of the armoire. It needed a lot of extra work to mostly close the gaps.. Melissa. Perrineville, NJ. Tue Aug 25 2026
