It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. We had a problem with one piece being broken but Wayfair and the maker of the bed sent a replacement. We only waited a few days. The bed is very nice. My only problem with the bed is that it says to buy a 8” or 12” mattress for the trundle. We purchased the 8” and we are unable to push the trundle back under the bed. The bed is great! The only thing that was frustrating was that it was advertised as the lowest price and had a 24 hour window to get the offer so I took it. I found out two days later that the Bed went on sale for a lower price and when I contacted customer service, they were unwilling to match that price or even let me return the bed and get my money back and then order the Bed at the lower price. This bed was bought for my guestroom. It fits perfectly without taking up too much space, but still looks nice. The color was a perfect match for the existing furniture in the room. It was easy to put together and feels very sturdy. I have high pile carpet, so I was concerned with how smooth pulling the trundle bed out would be, but I did not have any issues with it. The bottom pulls out easily. I purchased a 6" mattress for the bottom frame and it fits well. There is some room left, so I may just get an 8" when it's time to replace the mattress.
