This chandelier is absolutely stunning. Every piece of alabaster is completely unique, with its own variations in color, veining and translucency. One of my favorite parts was actually arranging the individual pieces myself. I was able to choose where each one went so that the most beautiful characteristics could be appreciated from every side of the chandelier. When it’s illuminated, the light coming through the natural stone is gorgeous and gives off such a warm, inviting glow. Assembly is definitely time-consuming because each alabaster piece is individually protected for shipping and needs to be installed, but I actually enjoyed the process. It gave me the opportunity to really appreciate each piece and customize the final arrangement. Installation was a little tricky in my case because I chose not to shorten the suspension cableswiring. That meant carefully fitting the excess into the junction box and canopy, but I was ultimately able to make it work. It looks beautiful even when it’s turned off, but once the lights are on, it really becomes something special. We chose the black option. It is heavy, but our electrician was able to manage it. It is simple-yet sophisticated, delicate, and feels very organic in our space. I love the texture of the alabaster, and the warm glow the light and how it brightens up the various colors of the alabaster. It casts a great light at night, so don't worry about whether it will be bright enough. It is also dimmable, so get a dimmer if you can. I tried to include both day and evening photos. Im actually very intrigued by this light design. It is breathtaking, the way it lets the light out is super interesting. The design is fairly simple you insert each petal into the circle. My only issue with it is there are 3 light settings, which is nice, but i cant figure out how to keep it on one setting. This light is really pretty! I added it to my laundry room. I replaced a recessed lighting fixture with this and because of that I needed a ceiling medallion. This chandelier is gorgeous! I was a bit hesitant to purchase with little to no reviews but I am so glad I took a chance. It if a statement piece and elevates our dining room so much! Showstopper of a chandelier. Very heavy, so extra reinforcement in the ceiling is important. The structure has been installed by our electrician, and I have yet to put on the alabaster shades. The fixture came very well boxed, with each shade in a separate styrofoam slot. The shades are beautiful, and I look forward to hanging them. I will try to update with photos in time.. Angela.
