Love the table! Getting the screws in to the table required tweezers. It was tricky getting the washers and bolts lined up as the opening was too small for your fingers to hold in place. I purchased this dining set in December, and overall I’m very happy with it. The table itself is beautiful, feels like good quality, and was surprisingly easy to assemble. It ended up being a little smaller than I expected, but it works well for my space and still seats four comfortably. My biggest complaint is the chairs. They were much more difficult to assemble than the table, and after about seven months of normal use, I’ve already had to go back and tighten several of the bolts because the chairs became loose and wobbly. I’m hoping this isn’t something I’ll have to do on a regular basis or eventually have to replace the chairs because of it. Overall, I still love the look of this dining set and think it’s a great value, but I do wish the chairs were built a little more sturdily. These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. This dining table and chair set really updated my boyfriend’s kitchen from a bachelor pad type looking kitchen to a homey feel. Working on updates and this table was perfect and not overpriced.
