These photos are not from it being new but used!! Immediate water damage From first cleaning. This is real wood, but it does not have a good topcoat of sealant. I still would recommend buying just for the fact that it has lasted this long. I might go with one with a paint finish. I have had this table now for over 2 years. Everything was packed nicely even though the shipper beat up the box a bit, no damage. The wood is smooth and feels soft to touch but when screwed together it’s very solid. I like that it is all screws and pegs not cam style. The chairs seem to support adult weight (180lb) just fine even I know that’s not the design.. Kevin. Everett, WA. Sat May 23 2020

High-end tables for high-end classrooms. Solid square hardwood table built to last. Full thick tops and square legs make these tables a great selection for durability and value. Carefully rounded safety corners and edges keep your children safe and happy. Non-toxic natural finish.

This table is a mixed bag. I needed this particular size (24"x36"x30" tall) to fit a space I had, and I wanted a hardwood top, and that's what I got, and overall, it's a nice table. It arrived fine, FedEx always does a nice job, and no damage to the carton or the wood pieces inside, however, the bag containing the hardware was only secured with a single piece of tape which had come loose during shipping and the parts were scattered throughout the box. Fortunately, there were no missing pieces, and no scratches or damage to the top, which was well protected. The top is quite nice and well finished, but the edges of the legs were quite rough and even splintery in places, requiring me to use sandpaper before assembly, and I was a bit put off when looking at the bottom of the top piece of wood to notice stamped metal plates being used as attachment points for the legs, along with a HUGE sticker saying how unstable the table was, and not to move it without lifting, and do not tip on two legs, do not lean on it, etc, making me wonder how sturdy the table really is, arrrrgh. Then the actual assembly process, which should have taken 20 minutes (I've assembled similar tables in 15-20 minutes), took me well over an hour because the nuts used were extremely difficult to screw on, and those metal plates present some seriously sharp edges that I had to tape over, making me wonder why they would use sharp metal on a desk for students? However, once it's put together, it actually seems reasonably sturdy, and looks nice in my room. I guess I'm just extremely picky, but with a only minor changes, thicker legs (and bolts) and using wood corner blocks instead of stamped metal for attaching the legs, this table would be a real winner. As it is, it's perfectly fine for my purposes, and I would probably purchase it again, but I'm not sure this would be suitable for a classroom or small children.. Derek. Oklahoma. Sun May 18 2025

The perfect addition to our playroom! Assembly was easy enough and, fortunately, the top cleans really easily with a magic eraser after being scribbled on with crayons and markers. My only complaint is that the fabric bins that come with it are a *little* flimsy, so if they’re full of crayons and a kid is trying to handle them it kind of collapses.. Jessica. Nashville, TN. Sat Aug 22 2026

Love this! Took about two hours to put together, but directions were clear. Perfect size for my rwl year old and we love that we can store things in the table. I do wish the removable pieces had hinges instead to prevent dropping on little fingers, but so far so good and she uses it every day. Morgan. Grapevine, TX. Sun Sep 06 2026

Very impressive quality! This wood is absolutely solid and durable—the chairs easily hold 200lbs+. The wood grain is quite lovely and would look great with a stain, but we opted to paint. It turned out beautifully, there was only one small spot with a bit of wood glue on it that required a bit of elbow grease to sand down. Absolutely get this if you are tired of cheap wood furniture from the internet, this set is the real deal!!!. Colleen. Naperville, IL. Sun Dec 21 2025
