Setup took around 3 hours with 2 people (granted we’re not very building savvy) and instructions were fairly cleareasy to follow. When it came to the “use a box for support” part of the manual, we just used throw pillows and it worked fine. Everything was packaged very thoughtfully and the quality of the desk feels very sturdy. This table is PERFECT for my preschool classroom. Heavy, but that means it's very solid. Pretty easy to put together -- some of the holes to attach the legs didn't line up, but with a drill, it was easy to put a screw through the wood. The legs are adjustable, but you need to remove two bolts per leg to do it. So learn from my mistakes and make sure to measure the height you actually want, because it's annoying to do twice..
