Love the bench. Had to do a little staining on it, but other than that love it! Seller did give me a discount due to the areas that needed to be satined and were missed before shipping. Appreciated the little discount as well. Looks perfect. I have been looking for a bench for my home for over a year. This one is perfect.. Janice. Texas. Sat Aug 15 2026

The 5 stars are for the excellent customer service that Wayfair provides. The storage bench is not as well made as I would expect it to be (perhaps 3.5 to 4 stars) since it does look nice just material used is cheap. The first one I received had a broken leg, the top thin plastic cover that protects the cushion was ripped which left a small stain and the hinge was broken on the left side. I attached a picture of the leg. Upon contacting Wayfair customer service they promptly took care of it. The replacement I received is in perfect shape. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to put additional packaging around the legs to keep them from breaking and to use a stronger plastic wrap to protect the top cushion. What is currently used seems to be saran wrap.. Teresa. Belmont, MA. Sat Jul 02 2016

Although this is a very labor-intensive piece to make, the tops are completely handmade using reclaimed wood from antique doors. The legs are hand-distressed in antiqued colors. Each one is unique and will vary slightly. We have this reclaimed top old door bench in three distressed colors. The color refers only to the color of the legs.

Very rustic bench! Almost too rustic as it has pieces of different wood where it had to be patched, and stains “spots” within the wood. It is reclaimed and every bench is different. Overall, very sturdy and the look we wanted!. Kelly. AZ. Sat Sep 12 2026

This solid rubberwood bench makes us think of a rustic workbench– just right if you have a project you’ve been meaning to start. A classic trestle design with X-shaped legs gets a polished finish that still preserves the rugged character of the wood cracks and natural wood edges along with the seat. It has a stretcher for extra support, so it can hold up to 250 lbs. This rustic bench stands 18.1'' tall, just the right height for most dining tables, taking your family from dinnertime to homework time. Designed for Residential Use: This bench is intended for indoor household use only and is not recommended for commercial use.

This was very simple to put together. It was slightly wider than in the description. The specification said 14 inches but it is closer to 16. But other than that, it seems sturdy and works great in the space I picked out. Greta. Fishers, IN. Fri May 22 2026
