Was pleasantly surprised at the quality, fabric feels softer and natural, which was important to me since we have an 18 month old baby. Quality is much higher relative to price point. I was able to assemble it myself , while baby was "helping" me, instructions were pretty straightforward and it took me about an hour, no breaking sweat. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this sofa! The Slate is a really dark grey, almost with some threads of black but very soft. I love the wide flat armrests. The cushions are all very supportive yet fluffy with no sagging. The seat is deep enough to sit comfortably but also leanlounge a bit. (I am going to try to find an ottoman). I am hopeful this will stand the test of time but it seems very durable so far. The legs are black plastic not wood, but we didn’t have any issues attaching them. Quick and easy delivery as well! You can assemble this by yourself but it will take about 2 or 3 hours so I recommend having a second person help. It will go much more smoothly. The construction seems pretty solid and the cushions are soft and comfortable. There are several ways you can design or set up the couch so that it fits your space the best.
