These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. This was an easy build, clear instructions, and screws pre-organized by type. They recommend having 2 people, but I was able to assemble it by myself. I used an end table [with some books on top] to hold each side rail up to make assembly easy. As for lifting it to face it upright , I grabbed the side rail to lift the table just a little, slid a book under the middle to raise the bottom edge. From there it was easy to turn the table on it's side. After that, I slid the book under it again, lifted it halfway over, then slid around to the opposite side while holding on, to be able to lower it gently. You can do it! I don't have things arranged to my liking in the room yet, but this table will seat 6 people easily!
