Overall we were very happy with this purchase. The only issue we had is that the side spindles were somehow loose in the packaging with other parts and there were several scratches/chips on them. Our California Crafted Mission Spindle Bookcases are built to last. We built these Solid Oak bookcases in 1967 and have kept them the same. Solid Plain Cut Oak with Solid shelves and frame. These come in many sizes and all have flush sides to build a wall of bookcases. These are built using the design elements from Stickley, Roycroft, and Charles Rene Macintosh. The design of this furniture creates a simple, yet elegant look. These are also high quality and budget-priced. No particle board, pressboard, or MDF is used in these bookcases. They have adjustable shelves. They ship fully assembled.
