My husband put this together in about an hour or so. Directions were clear and straightforward. The color is a creamy white vanilla so I am pleased with that. I bought this fold out couch for my upstairs bonus room when company comes. I love the mattress and it’s pretty comfortable. Putting it together was a little bit of a challenge, but I did it by myself. The one thing I would complain about is that it says it can be pushed up against the wall as a couch and fall down without hitting the wall, but it did scratch my wall so you have to have it out a couple inches. All of the metal parts are excellent. The machine screws are precise and fit well into the holes no problem. The plastic parts are infuriatingly, cheap, and stupid. I put this together by myself in a little over two hours. You will need a mallet to put those tiny little plastic hateful things into each hole. The directions were acceptable. There are two different hardware packs. One is for the bed and one is for the trundle. Make sure you familiarize yourself with that fact because they are not labeled you just have to look at the directions with the visual and put the labels on it yourself so you don’t mix them up..
