You would expect a Chinese knock off of a carved Indian sofa to "off gas". Nope. Not a single smell. This is the most expensive couch that I ever owned, and worth ever penny. We love the look of this set. Unfortunately, the loveseat inside frame had a tear. Wayfair did refund me 10 so I can get it repaired. Make sure you open the boxes before the delivery folks leave.
