Lamp arrived intact, no damage. As soon as I opened the box I realized it was going to live up to the pictures I saw on Wayfair.com. The black shade had no scuff marks and had a nice, black satin sheen as I was hoping for. It makes a beautiful contrast with the brass base and stem and the brass “vent” openings on top. Love the fact that the undersurface of the shade is covered by a white plastic diffuser, it really avoids any glare whatsoever and softens the light that comes from the 3 included LED candelabra bulbs. It paired beautifully with a brass floor lamp that I also ordered from Wayfair for my new mezzanine space.
