Great, sturdy mailbox. Looks fantastic. We now have by far the nicest mailbox on the street. It is pretty heavy (about 25lbs I believe) so make sure your post can handle it. Not a fan of the wood block for mounting. It will eventually rot. Would have liked to see a pvc product or similar. I love this mailbox. My first inclination was to have Handy install but decided to tackle it myself. Heavy, well constructed and added a nice touch to our sage colored siding. The lid is quite heavy and may not be for everyone especially if you have large wnvelopes to send or receive as they may get crushed.
