This handcrafted steel bell has a contemporary charm and a great tone. This handcrafted, wind-activated bell, with its bold tone and design, functions nicely as a welcome bell at any entrance to your home or garden. They tone their bells to unite two important ways the instrument vibrates. One is the sound of the bell itself and the other is the hollow chamber inside the bell that acts like an organ pipe. The slots on the sides of the bell are the secret to this unique coupling. The result is a rich sound with much depth and beauty. This steel ball has been coated with a handsome, durable finish, so you can enjoy it for years to come. Hang your Heroic Large Wind Chime in a breezy spot and let it play in the wind.

The Heroic Windbell™ Wind Chime is a very nice chime. Made with quality metal material and the sound of the chime is beautiful. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is extremely heavy. I bought it to hang on a shepards hook by our pool but it is way too heavy. We will need to get a strong mounted hook to support its weight. Overall very happy because it is a uniquie item.. Bonny. Boasting a transitional aesthetic with a hint of modernism, these glass doors are beautiful, cabinet style, one-piece frame. When installed, the fireplace glass door enhances the appearance of your family’s indoor, wood-burning, traditional masonry fireplace hearth. These fireplace glass door sets are designed for masonry fireplaces only and are not compatible with prefabricated fireplaces – see our sizing guide for more details. When it’s time to unwind from the day, this glass door set opens completely, providing a clear view of your burning fire. The smoked 3/16-in tempered glass doors must stay open while the fire is burning, and the built-in mesh firescreen panels act as a barrier to help contain embers. Both the glass doors and mesh panels have easy-catch magnets to help keep them closed. The glass doors can help you save energy year-round – when closed, they prevent ac and heat loss through the chimney by up to 90%. The hidden damper knob at the bottom of the firescreen provides additional airflow to feed the fire for bigger, longer-lasting flames. Closed fireplace glass door sets also prevent cold chimney downdrafts from entering your home and keep pets and children out of fireplace soot. These fireplace glass doors are surface mounted flat against the fireplace opening, allowing the doors to open fully to provide an incredible view of your fire from anywhere in the room. The Chimes of Neptune is designed and handcrafted for superior musical performance and is hand-tuned to a five-note scale found all over the world. It acts in concert with the wind to create random patterns of wonderful music and will work in perfect harmony with all other Encore Collection chimes right in your own back yard. Neptune’s distant blue-green world has a dynamic atmosphere and blustery weather. Temperatures drop to minus 400 degrees Fahrenheit and ferocious winds gust to 900 mph. Our Chimes of Neptune do not require gusting winds; they will play pleasing sounds with the gentlest breeze. This soft music may remind one of the celestial, all-women’s chorus at the end of Gustav Holst’s Neptune, The Mystic.

A graceful design reminiscent of calligraphy, this gong captures the romance and splendor of the Far East. Inspired by traditional Asian design, their Emperor Series offers wonderful sound and is intended to reflect balance, harmony, grace, and beauty. Chinese instrument makers have made gongs for thousands of years and are deserving of their reputation of making the best in the world. Many processes go into creating the special sound of a Chinese Gong, including fine toning as a result of hand-hammering. In Buddhism, the gong is sounded at the start and end of each day. In Chinese temples, gongs are struck 108 times because it's believed that sentient beings have 108 types of worries. The teaching is this upon hearing the gong, worries will cease, and wisdom will grow. Nothing can transport them to another time and place quite like the brilliant resonance of a gong. For over a thousand years, gongs of various types have played an important role in both the religious and secular music of many Asian cultures. Gongs were sounded to chase away evil spirits, warn of invading armies, heal the sick, and invoke the spirits of the dead. To be touched by a gong was said to bring happiness and strength. Today, this revered instrument of warriors, emperors, princes, and priests adds a special aura to any setting. Handcrafted using traditional methods, this collection brings the ancient wonders of the Far East home.

Love the deeper sound it provides. Great addition to my japanese inspired garden bed. Joanne. Hampton, VA. Thu Aug 21 2025

In 1979, grammy® award-winning musician and instrument designer Garry Kvistad created the first Woodstock chime from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. Fascinated by the scale of Olympos, a 7th-century pentatonic scale that can’t be played on a modern piano, Garry cut and tuned the lawn chair tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The resulting chimes of Olympos were the first Woodstock chime and are still one of our best-selling, musically-tuned wind chimes. This shimmering Moonlight Waves Wind Chime brings to mind moonlight reflecting on the ocean. This wind chime got its name from its "curtain" design of antiqued, copper-toned, and gently curved steel disks which is beautifully complemented by its welcoming and calming sound. The subtle variety of shadow and reflected light on the cascading disks is reminiscent of the shimmer of moonlight on water. Watching this unique wind chime flutter in the breeze recalls warm summer evenings and long walks along the shore. Gazing at this chime as it sparkles and gleams, you can almost hear the waves crashing and feel the sand between your toes. Welcome this elegant chime into your home or garden and let it bathe you in tranquility. This chime has long strings that may tangle in strong winds. You may prefer to hang it in a sheltered area or indoors.

When the wind blows, this wind chime plays the familiar notes of London's Big Ben, pealing out the glorious sound. This wind chime plays the famous tones of London's Big Ben, pealing out glorious sounds of celebration and spiritual richness. Bells have been used throughout the ages to accompany dance, provide comfort, and warn of possible danger. The Chinese were the first to control the pitch or note of a bell, making it possible for them to play tunes. Soon bells were being used to accompany worship. On New Year's Eve, the bells in Buddhist temples are rung 108 times, once for each of the 108 worldly desires. In the East, bells have become very important and are often decorated with significant symbols. For centuries, tuned bells have been suspended in homes and temples to ward off evil and attract good luck and prosperity. Temple Bells Wind Chime is inspired by these ancient bells and works in harmony with the wind to create gentle, soothing tones.
