Stained glass is handcrafted using the same technique that was developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. Glass types and colors are designed using metallic salts during manufacturing. Each piece of real glass is hand-cut and copper foil is wrapped around each individual piece. The glass pieces are then welded by hand to create one-of-a-kind designs. As part of the finishing process, oil is added to the outside of the design to protect the metal from erosion. The beauty of stained glass is its versatility when illuminated by light. The light fixtures were beautiful but the code and order were for Brown and gold what was recieved was shades of blue. The unpacking, repacking, notifying of the problem, setting up return with label removal and affixing new printed labels was time consuming but not difficult. CHLOE's Tiffany-style stained glass products are formed using the very same technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s, using hand-cut stained art glass, each wrapped in fine copper foil and soldered together at extremely high temperatures to form each unique piece. The exact size to the nearest inch may vary, and the exact color of each glass piece may vary due to each piece being handcrafted. The first image is with the light shining through, the second image is with no light. Dry-listed and recommended for an indoor setting.
