I like the look of it and the veneers look realistic. There are lots of pieces so don't plan on it being a quick build. I did on my own with no assistance. Pretty good instructions -- I did miss the strip that covers the seem of the 2 flimsy panels that go across the back of the lower cabinet so watch for that. There are no extra screws/fasteners so keep track of your parts. I found it odd that there were no covers for the shelf screws that are very visible, so I covered them with small brown felt chair leg pads. Brown contact paper would be better.. Jayne. Columbus, OH. These paired shelving units were just what my small business was looking for to store our store's product. Each unit took about 1/2 hour to assemble with two people working together. luv the versatility of this unit and the ability to add more sections down the road. also love the simple but elegant design, my only dislike was the fact that brown is no longer available, also the instructions indicate that you would need to screw the top shelving unit into the basedrawers. I dislike, putting wood screw holes in the base. They should of designed it where instead of using wood screws, you could use machine screws to take it apart without damaging the wood.. William. Nice bookshelf. Love the color palette and how detailed the instructions are. Took a while to put together but I did it without special tools. The finished piece is sturdy and good quality for the price. The one reason I took one star off is because I didn’t realize how narrow the shelf is.
