These lampshades were packed so well that there were no dents or dirt at all. They are a good value, in my opinion. The only thing that I would change is that each shade has a seam in the binding around the bottom edge that is on the front, opposite the vertical shade seam. This is a nice lamp. It appears high quality. Its very big. The base is about 10 inches wide at its thickest. The candle in the photo is 8 ounces and the tumbler is 16 ounces. The measurements are correct. I probably would have been happy with something a little bit smaller but Ill get used to it.
