Overall, this is a well-made and sturdy wall-mounted medicine cabinet with mirror. It looks great once installed and feels like a quality piece. When it arrived, the top was damaged and looked like it may have been previously handled or improperly cleaned. The finish appeared to be deteriorating, similar to what can happen when an abrasive cleaner is used on this type of painted surface. (For cabinets like this, it's best to clean the painted finish with mild soap and water, while only the mirror should be cleaned with glass cleaner.) Thankfully, customer service resolved the issue right away, and I was very happy with how they handled it. The reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the smell inside the cabinet. My husband assembled the cabinet and didn't notice any odor during installation. I only noticed it after it was mounted on the wall when I opened the doors. It has a noticeable burnt or smoky smell inside the cabinet that has lingered for over a week. I'm hoping it eventually goes away, but since the cabinet is already installed, returning it really isn't practical. Lastly, as several other reviewers mentioned, the assembly instructions could be clearer. Fortunately, I had already read the reviews before putting it together, and one review pointed out a step that wasn't well explained, which made the assembly much easier. This is a pretty nice medical cabinet. The door hinges are good and the wall hanging setup, with the bar that attached to the wall, made it pretty easy to mount. It did come flat packed but wasn't hard to put together. Keep in mind that it's a bit deeper than a most medicine cabinets and might go better over a toilet (where I put mine) instead of over the bathroom vanity itself-also the mirror is on the small side. Perfect for any bathroom. Recesses in the wall between the studs, and simply screws to the studs on each side of the opening. Only the doors are outside the wall. Fully adjustable glass shelves inside. Our unique, patented design of shelf supports keeps each shelf in place. Concealed hinges with soft close built-in ensure the door will never slam shut, but softly close on its own instead. The box is solid pine and the Shaker-style door is solid maple. We’ve painted the inside of the box white, so you don’t have to! The door is primed and ready for you to paint it. The box is 3.5” deep inside and gives you plenty of usable depth, but fits in standard 2x4 walls. This model has two doors that open to reveal two separate cabinet sections. The Cabinet box is 12.5" wide inside. Doors are reversible to open either Left or Right. Completely assembled! All you need to do is put one screw in each hinge to mount the door. Then insert it into the wall and screw it to the studs with included screws. If you are replacing a current cabinet, measure your wall opening! White plastic trim surround covers the rough edges of your opening up to 1/2" all around. Doors cover the trim surround when closed so the only thing you see outside the wall is the doors.
