This cage has a great size for small animals, thus for my two young female mice it's huge. It's really good that we don't need any tool to assemble the cage, it's just adjust the wires and use the clips to fix it with the bottom. The bottom is sturdy ans strong, I like it a lot. It just don't have 5 stars because the wires of one side stayed with a larger gap then the other, so I had to put the plataform on the front opening side to prevent the scape of my young mice. I think I received a returned item. The crate did not unfold as per instructions, it was in pieces the hinges were broken bent it’s like someone tried to put it together butchered it sent it back. UPDATE I had an amazing experience with customer service. They immediately promptly issued a replacement fedex came picked up the damaged one. I think these get damaged in transport easily because the new one was almost perfect, it just had a dent in the corner, for which I was offered another replacement but instead I asked for a credit back to which Wayfair agreed to.
