I was hesitant on buying. Majority of knives rust so quick, I can’t say if these do or not. But for the last several months I’ve used I clean and dry immediately. But what I can say is they they’re ultra sharp and stay that way after many uses. Gorgeous looking as well!. Dylan. Sun Jul 19 2026

Overall, it's a good knife set. The knives are very sharp and look nice, but the blade edges seem a bit too thin and delicate. One of the knives accidentally fell on the floor, and the edge bent. I expected better durability from HENCKELS.. Meltem. Sun Oct 11 2026

Ten slots hold knives firmly in place, including a large side holder for a Chef’s knife. A soft rubber pad on the back ensures it won’t scratch your dishrack.

It’s worth it! When you spend money on quality knives you want to take care of them. This knife block is made quality materials and well designed. The back has rubber backing that doesn’t scratch the dish rack and keeps it firmly in place. And I love that the side channels can house my larger knives.. Anonymous. Tue Mar 17 2026

It’s a good, high quality knife overall, but I have other knives in the under $100 range that are comparable or better. So while it’s a good product, I am not convinced it has the best value proposition. Pros: very sharp; nice weight on the handle - pretty much the opposite of flimsy; great size knife for everyday cooking - does a perfect job of chopping veggies, cutting meats and chicken. Appears to be high quality that will last over time although seeing as I’ve only had it for a few weeks, I can’t comment on longevity yet. Cons: just after a few weeks of very light use, the knife did not pass the tomato test - it was very tough to cut through even cherry tomatoes. Another very minor con: packaging looked very cheap and flimsy unlike the knife itself.. Ekaterina. Midland, TX. Fri Feb 28 2020

Beautiful knife hits well above its price point. I have been owning and using Japanese knives in professional kitchens for the better part of 3 decades and this knife performs as well or better than knives from misono, Masahiro and others and costs far less. It’s also much more user friendly, sharpened on both sides, stainless, and a more traditional shape- if that works for you. At 109 bucks it’s a steal. Get one!. Sean Conroy. Colorado Springs.
