The Seat Belt ottoman is one of many offerings in this contemporary seating collection by award-winning Thai designer Nuttapong Charoenkitivarakorn. The design was inspired by the intertwining spools of fabric seen when visiting a seat belt factory. Nuttapong’s striking chairs are easily recognizable by the braided backside and stiletto profile. The straps are woven on a frame made of wood that is reinforced with metal. There are monochromatic and two-tone versions, each of which is available in many colors. All of these reflect the ethos that the Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.

I am obsessed with this! I needed something that was an off-white. In some of the pictures it looked stark white and some it looked like a winter white so I wasn’t sure what to expect but the color is exactly what I wanted! A beautiful warm white and there’s a sheen to the straps that give it an even more elevated look. Can’t wait for the matching rocker to arrive! Bonus points for my cat loving it too haha.. Roxie.
