The chest looks nice. The quality is good. However, the drawers only pull out about half way. Very weird. I thought about returning it but I can make it work. I read the reviews about the drawer problem but still ordered it because I liked it (I don't always trust the reviews). Also, in the product description the drawer dimensions are not listed. This chest is cute and looks great once assembled, but putting it together was definitely more difficult and time-consuming than expected. My biggest complaint is the drawer system. For safety, it only allows one drawer to be open at a time, which sounds nice in theory but is frustrating in everyday use. The drawers are very picky—you have to push a drawer completely closed, often with more force than should be necessary, before another drawer will open. If it’s even slightly out of place, the other drawers lock up. After using it for a while, this feature has become more annoying than helpful. The cabinet is gorgeous! I will say that I don't understand why Wayfair has it listed as "assembly required" other than to make an extra buck off the consumer. The Wayfair assembly guy was very professional that I paid an extra $100 for to assemble the product. He did assist me with moving it in the house from the garage, he tightened some screws as well as assembled the feet. I hope to have him back to assemble some other items. This piece comes fully assembled with the exception of the feet that basically screw in the bottom. It did arrive with a crack in the wood at the bottom near the base easily repaired with black wood putty and a little black stain. Beautiful bedside table. Beautiful design. As others mentioned it is made of heavy steel and extremely heavy. It did not come with instructions for removing drawers to make lighter in order to carry up stairs. Youtube did provide drawer removal instructions. Came packaged extremely well and protected. Pricey due to tariffs on steel products but I kept watching until it went on sale. No dents or scratches. Ample drawer space. This piece will undoubtedly last forever. Quality workmanship with locking drawer guides. Quick delivery. Fully assembled except for the 4 easy screw on legs. Easy access to drawer knobs.
