Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. It’s a nice couch and it is comfortable. It can seat about four average sized people close or three with plenty of space. The cushions came vacuum sealed So I was a little concerned about them fluffing into full looking cushions but I did not have a problem. I sat them in the sun for about 20 minutes and they look great! The cushions sit directly onto wooden slates that seem a little flimsy and are about a half inch thick so I wouldn’t flop down hard on them. The assembly was super easy and straightforward. There are no tools necessary, there are screws used but they have a twist type top so that you just hand tighten. My biggest issue is wth the back, it velcros to the arms but is loose everywhere else.
