They are easy to put together. Positioning the slipcovers for a perfectionist was, of course, tedious. They look great. The mechanism swiveling and rocking is very smooth. The bottom cushions’ slipcovers are like cotton lining fabric. They don’t show and you can wash them, but you cannot flip them. These are inexpensive,but don’t look it. Not 5 or 10 year chairs. Fantastic, exactly what I was searching for. These chairs were easy to assemble, the fabric has a nice soft feel. I was worried because a few reviews said they were shiny and they arent. These chairs would probably be 1000 each in a furniture store, we paid less than that with tax for 2. They are heavy ( I wouldnt want to carry them upstairs - they come in 1 box) and feel like quality. My husband is 62 and 275 lbs . He can lean backrecline and the chair is stable. He likes the chairs as much as I do. The chair backs are a good height from the seat. Allowing you to rest your head to take the pressure off your neck. So, don’t get me wrong I LOVE this recliner. Its fabric is nice, thick and looks to be durable. Its color is true to the online pictures. It’s super comfortable and has plenty of cushion with adjustable lumbar support and head rest. It rocks, swivels and reclines making it the perfect comfy chair. And YES! You can rock with a slight recline. Also, the recliner feels solid which I expected with flexsteel. However, theres a couple things to note, which is why the 4 star rating. First, was that we actually ordered the hand lever version and was sent the electric version. I’m not really complaining honestly,but it’s worth noting the wrong item was technically sent. And in receiving the electric version came some of the features we loved (adjustable lumbar and head rest), but also where some of the issues come in. The buttons are not labeled and take some getting use to. They can also be a little finicky.For example. I pressed the recline button then the foot button to adjust the feet and went to adjust the back again, but it wouldn’t recline. I had to set the recliner back to default and restart the chair adjustment. Another is that the recliner does not lay flat. For me this isn’t a big issue, it’s good enough. But others may want the feature. Lastly, the slots that fit the back of the chair to the base can be difficult to get together on assembly and leave a gap at the seat back if not settled. Very comfy and seems like pretty good quality in person. It’s definitely a swivel and rocker, more so than a swivel and glider. Color is more muted than expected so looks very grey in person not chocolate. When you lean forward the back does come up off the floor, but it still feels sturdy and safe overall.
