For the price these are better than expected. They were packaged well…heavy duty boxes, well sealed. Banded and plastic shrink wrapped. Each box had 2 stacks of 22 tiles (42lb per box). I needed 100 (only complaint was I couldn’t order just a single stack so had 32 more than needed). Went together easily, looks great under my little gazebo. We’ll see how they hold up to sun the rest of summer. They do have that “made in China smell” but I’m sure that will dissipate quickly since they are outside. I have a shoe cabinet that works fine but I wanted to spruce it up with some square knobs in a SS finish to make it more noticeable and interesting to look at. Very very blackish dark grey. Not exactly what I thought I was getting when I ordered. That being said I like it and am happy with it. It seems to not take sealant and is gettin dirt spots on it. We are very happy with this gazebo. The wood quality is very good, and the finished product looks beautiful and sturdy in our backyard. Assembly was easier than expected. Two people in the family were able to put it together without hiring outside workers. The instructions were clear, and the parts fit together well. I would recommend wearing gloves during assembly to help avoid scratches or small injuries, and having a ladder will definitely make the process easier. One thing I would suggest is adding an extra coat of wood stain or sealer if you want more protection. I did that for mine because I want it to last longer. Even without it, I think the wood feels durable, but if you live in a humid area or want extra long-term protection, adding a wood sealer is a good idea. One of my favorite things is simply sitting inside the gazebo in the early morning or late afternoon. The shade, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and unwind.
