With Wayfair, you never know what you're going to get, but this bed is nicer than we were expecting! The headboard and footboard are solid wood and the sides slide in easily. Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. Note the side slats are low to the ground with only a couple inches of clearance so storing things under the bed is not an option. But we're very happy with our purchase.. Jennifer. Saint Louis, MO. This platform sleigh bed grounds your bedroom in old-world classic style and extra storage. It's made from solid and engineered wood in a natural, rich hue. The rectangular sleigh headboard features three sections of picture frame molding that make it easy to arrange accent pillows directly in the center. We love that it comes with a whopping six built-in drawers that offer storage for linens, blankets, or clothes. This bed has center legs that provide additional support. Best of all, a box spring isn't required, so all you have to do is add the mattress of your choice (sold separately). Pick it up on its own or with the matching set (based on availability).

I like the way it looks; it is beautiful, but it has an odor that will probably go away eventually. We bought the entire bed set, and it said it can cause cancer, according to a California statement. I did not like this part, but I presume it has on most things these days.. John. Fri Jul 10 2026

This bed features a gently curved headboard and footboard. Plus, molded details and turned block feet add traditional touches. We love how the neutral hue and design of this bed works with any color bedding you'd like to add. And it's compatible with an adjustable bed so you can customize the comfort level. You'll need to add a box spring and mattress of your choice (sold separately), but a slat kit is included.

This is a gorgeous, high quality piece of furniture. Overall, I am very satisfied. However, there are 2 sets of holes in the headboard where the side rails attach. Since we had to use the innermost set of holes, the outermost set of holes show, past the side rails, which looks a bit tacky. Luckily, they are not really noticeable from a distance, and bedding will help hide the extra holes.. Wendy. White Bear Lake, MN. Tue Jun 03 2025
