I am beyond happy with this dining room table and chairs! The description says rubberized wood, not sure what that means, but it looks like regular painted wood. It arrived in four boxes, none of which weighed more than 40 pounds. The instructions were straightforward and tools were included. I struggled with tightening the bolts on the pedestal so I used my own wrench. The chairs do not wobble, they are secure on the floor. This set is good quality for DIY furniture. The linen white color matches my soft, white cabinetry well. One caution is making sure you are using the correct bolt size (face palm). It took me 2-3 hours to assemble and I was tired by the last chair assembly so I had to undo the seat and legs because I used the wrong bolts.
