This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. These solar post lights are impressive! They are heavy and easy to assemble. Needing no wiring they can be placed anywhere and have a very large solar panel on the top. There is an On/Off switch if you want to leave the area dark for stargazing. I chose to mount on my rose garden fence. The post lanterns come with a 3” post fitter so I added the post fitting.
