This board is great. The audio is perfect...not too much talking and not a bunch of crazy noises, just enough to let you know when it’s the next players turn or when you’ve thrown a good dart. Audio volume is just right. My family and I have really enjoyed it so far. This is our first electronic board, and now my 11-year-old is hooked on darts. We’ve had friends over to play and they also seem to be impressed with the quality of the board and features. Everyone really likes the cricket scoreboard on the side panel, and in a standard game of 501 the cricket board keeps track of how many darts have hit the board for each players turn. Certainly not an essential bit of info, but nice to have that visual confirmation. The number display for the scores could be a little bigger (for those of us older folks with less than perfect eyesight) but that is a very minor complaint. The darts are a little on the cheap side, as they are not very heavy and the tips wear down pretty quickly. I think we are starting to get a lot of bounce-outs due to the worn tips. That being said I’d rather have a great board and sub-par darts. Darts are cheap and easy to substitute at a later time. The exterior of the board is so-so...not the cheapest contact paper applique I’ve ever seen but certainly not a high pressure laminate or melamine. It is probably a high-grade vinyl appliqué or maybe a low-grade melamine. Exterior appearance was not of great concern to me, as it was all about the performance and function of the board itself. It certainly aces all of those requirements for me. The instruction manual is a little confusing for a first-time electronic board owner, but it is written in understandable English so that’s a plus. The power cord length is good (did not measure but it’s at least 6 feet) which allowed me to place the board exactly where I wanted on the wall in the room. I’m sure there are ‘A-grade’ boards out there with much higher price tags, but for occasional home or office use I definitely would recommend to a friend. Great product for the sale price. Comes with a lot of extras and it was easy to install. The felt on the back of the cupboard really quiets the darts hitting. The voice is slightly annoying, but you can turn it down. After about 3 months of use about 1 weekend a month, the board doesn’t recognize darts in the right zone as well as it did at first. I'm renovating an existing gameroom and bought this to replace an older Arachnid Cricket Pro. At the time of writing, I'm guessing this board is so new that there isn't a lot of info on it. Took a chance based on the appearance and features, and I'm happy I did. Pluses: Really feels sturdy and well built. If you're not dealing with TOTAL newbie players, the cabinet is wide enough to prevent wall damage even without doors. Has an Out Of Bounds ring around the outside that catches a miss. This is more helpful than you'd think when playing 301/701 and shooting for the outer ring. The mount is REALLY nice. It's pre-drilled at 16" and has a beveled edge that the cabinet just drops down onto. This was way easier than mounting my old cabinet. The little screen up top with the animations is a very nice touch. It really makes this feel like a bar quality commercial unit. Has a built-in switchable light. I can hardly emphasize how great this is. I was shopping for a separate LED light like I had with my old board before realizing how perfect the one built into this is. Its a soft light and casts the perfect amount of light on the board in a dark room. Minuses: The included darts are junk. This is really no surprise, but the quality of the board is good enough to expect decent darts. The audio call outs are a little funky... They had a British sounding announcer which is pretty fantastic, but some of the callouts sound clipped. To help it make sense, when the announcer says a number like Eight, it sounds like they had it say Eighteen and just clipped it in half instead of creating a separate sample. This sounds like a minor gripe, but you hear this 20 times per game so it's the most noticeable flaw. Overall, this a very solid entry as a home dart board with a commercial feel.
