Really attractive and works well, but if you are not handy, get someone else to install! I'm not a pro, but I've installed 4 ceiling fans in my house and this is by far the most frustrating. You have to attach the blades by reaching your screw driver through the tiny holes provided- and hoping you don't drop the screws in the process. Spoiler alert: you will! This is the perfect fan with adjustable LED light. The best part of it is being able to adjust the color tone and brightness of the light. It still connects to my light switch but I have the remote that comes with a mount to turn on fan. The fan has 6 speeds for pulling air up or down. Do not let the size fool you, it is powerful. The weave is beautiful and tight. No loose ends. Also when I was having trouble removing the smaller rod to attach to the light mount, Wayfair and the supplier provided a video and detailed instructions on how to proceed that same night! This is a high quality fan light with good features. The light is adjustable in both brightness and warm/cool so I can set it exactly how I like it. Love that feature. It looks really beautiful in my bedroom. The fan puts off a very nice breeze and is very quiet. The downsides: my old traditional ceiling fan had separate switches for the fan and the light, and this fan doesn't work with the second separate fan switch. Also if you turn it off using the wall switch, it preserves the last light setting but not the fan setting, so you would have to turn the fan back on with the remote any time you use the switch. Shout out to the manufacturer and to wayfair. There was an issue with my order missing some of the screws. They resolved my issue quickly and hassle-free. I really appreciate it.. Diana. I was looking for something for our guest room in our Florida home that would help make our guests feel they were on vacation and this fit the bill. We've thrilled with our purchase. The only negative is that the remote changes the light warmth but not necessarily the brightness - there is no dimming option on remote.
