Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. I’ve been looking for one with kind of measurements and with some adjustments to the structure (for our needs and wants) this has been great. The instructions were pictures which I thought were a challenge, and a few pieces were cracked.. I used glue and packing tape for repair. But not with removing a star. I skipped the braces ( first steps so I could put it together in the house ) when my husband and I could assemble this outdoors I did end up replacing some of the upper parts with the same wire as the bottom. I purchased at tractor supply then replaced the two doors with just wire ( a good stapler is needed.) The big door at the bottom I added an extra lock so it gives me the access needed for “just in case” my cats would run in if I shake the treat jar. I got two pieces of strapping for the top to support the top by the roof and one for the center just for additional support. I am able to use power tools but I didn’t want to come up with the big design so honestly this is great! It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. This cage has a great size for small animals, thus for my two young female mice it's huge. It's really good that we don't need any tool to assemble the cage, it's just adjust the wires and use the clips to fix it with the bottom. The bottom is sturdy ans strong, I like it a lot. It just don't have 5 stars because the wires of one side stayed with a larger gap then the other, so I had to put the plataform on the front opening side to prevent the scape of my young mice. I needed to upgrade our bunny's hutch and decided to go with this one. Upon opening the box, it had a strong smell that eventually gave me a headache, though this seems to be the case with previous ones from different stores. Right away, I took the roof outside and hosed it down to get rid of most of the loose shingles as they can create quite a mess, since I bought this for indoor use. I do like that the pieces are clearly labeled with a stamp instead of a sticker. However, the instructions could be better, as some parts were unclear and I had to redo them. I also found some of the construction a bit odd, like the spacing for one of the walls. Additionally, I don't like that there isn't a separation like a wire mesh to keep the bunny out of its litter, and I found it odd that the brakes were in the rear instead of the front—though maybe if I just turn the wheels a certain way, it won't be an issue.
