This island is beautiful and great quality at a decent price. Is just what i needed for my studio apartment and provides me extra storage and counter space. Instructions were overall clear. Was not difficult to build but it did take me about 6 hours to put together because I did it alone. Would have been much easier if I had another pair of hands helping. Overall this is a very nice cabinet and with some patients reasonably easy to assemble if you're handy at these kind of things. I will definitely say there are a lot of parts so take your time. The instructions were pretty good although there are a couple of places where a few more detailed diagrams would have boosted my confidence. Overall quality was good and the final product has good fit and finish presentation. One downside of these is the manufactured wood isn't great. I get just a bit of "bumpiness" with the drawers which I attribute to the preinstalled screws not countersinking in quite enough. I attempted to tighten some more but the threads just won't grip enough in the manufactured wood. But this isn't a big deal and something you deal with on <$500 cabinets that aren't at least pine; so you have choices. The only qualm I have is that I thought it would be baby blue like the photos, though the description said teal. It is more of a teal shade than baby blue. Very satisfied with this rolling bamboo kitchen island. I am extremely particular about my purchases and chose this one based on the real wood construction and the exact dimensions I needed to fit flush in height and width at the end of my kitchen island in my new condo and it was one of the only islands I could find in the correct size that had all the drawers I was wanting. It is constructed of solid bamboo for majority with MDF shelves and extra parts. The stainless steel top is in perfect condition and the whole unit was packed extremely well. It took 3-4 hours for my handy husband to assemble the many pieces by himself. Instructions were very clear and all parts and hardware were present with quite a few extra pieces leftover. The hinges on the doors take some fiddling with to get doors aligned correctly. We used an allen wrench with a handle grip that came with another product and a ratchet screwdriver to make assembly easier. The drawers open and close smoothly. We left the spice rack/knife block off because of space constraints. There are small predrilled holes where that unit attached but I'll cover those with some small plastic plugs and will be hardly noticeable. The wheels roll smoothly. This is a well designed island and is constructed in a durable way. We just assembled a couple days ago so only time will tell how it holds up but I feel positive that it will be an excellent piece for storage and extra counter space and should last a good long while..
