The bed looks exactly as pictured online. Assembly is tedious intakes quite some time. One thing to note is the shelf on either side is not actually Wood. It is some type of hard material but it is covered with a padded vinyl wood grain look. This bed frame is really nice. The upholstery matches the color as described and it is very sturdy. The directions had some of the parts mislabeled but the pictures helped to figure out which ones to use.
