I am very pleased with this well-built, handsome bench. It was an excellent value! Placed at the foot of our bed, it adds style and sophistocation to our bedroom, but it's also a practical place to put our turned-down comforter and our extra pillows before we go to sleep. While sturdy, it's light enough to move downstairs for extra seating when we entertain. I like that there are no screws sticking out of the frame as I saw on lesser quality metal framed benches. Why 4, not 5 stars? The nice leather upholstery is made up of several peices stitched together... which would be fine, except that there is more color variation across those peices than I would have preferred.. Susan. Very happy with the banquette. The corner piece is a little shorter at the corners, so we will add felt pads to the bottom of the feet to make the backs line up a bit better.
