Whoever said this mattress was soft, fight me, because y’all lied. The bed did fully inflate within the recommended 72 hours. It probably would have been ready around 24 hours, but we followed the directions and let it sit the full 72. It also had no smell, which was a plus. I have a unique setup where I have 2 queen beds together because I sleep with my 2 great danes and 1 great pyrenees. I needed to be sure this bed was supportive, with some bounce , because straight memory foam doens't hold up to the amount of weight that could be on the bed. THIS IS AMAZING. First the coils are stiff with tons of support. Exactly what I need! It's an honest 12" high which is important since I have a 12" mattress next to it and it was off in measurements, it would be uncomfortable. But most importantly its extremely comfortable. This mattress is thick. Dont let the packaging fool you. It took about an hour and a half for the mattress to fully expand. It is extremely soft and very comfortable. Therefore, I will likely wait another 24 hours before placing it on the bed to ensure it has reached its maximum fullness.
