The pieces are a nice weight, the size of each piece is great, steak knives are sharp and the serving pieces are large. The are packaged well with each piece being individually wrapped in tissue paper along with heavy duty boxes. I actually fell in love with its sister pattern, the Nyssa, but found it to be too bulky with the round handle. This is the flat, which feels a little thin width wise at first, but we actually love it. So many compliments on it.
