Shun Wood Cutlery Set

The Viking 17pc Cutlery Set is designed for the home chef continuing to refine their cutlery handling skills. Featured in the set are both the most commonly used everyday knives like a Chef Knife, and Paring Knife, plus additional styles like the Boning Knife and 5” Serrated Utility Knife, to expand your cutlery library with more advanced blades that make easy work of any culinary task at hand. The premium German steel blades are designed to deliver the ideal balance between edge retention and the ability to sharpen the blade while withstanding years of use. The heavy duty forged bolster on the handles help to balance the knife during use while protecting your fingers from sliding forward to the blade itself. The full tang triple riveted handles are ergonomically shaped to provide a secure and comfortable grip. The bolster end of the handle can also be used for crushing garlic, ginger, nuts, and more. The 16-slot cutlery block is made of sustainable Ash wood with Walnut color finish to compliment a wide variety of kitchen designs. This set includes: 8” Chef Knife, 7” Santoku Knife, 8” Carving Knife, 8” Bread Knife, 6” Boning Knife, 5” Serrated Utility Knife, 3.5” Paring Knife, 3.5” Serrated Paring Knife, 6 – 4.5” Steak Knives, 10” Sharpening Steel, Kitchen Shears, and an Ash wood block. WÜSTHOF GOURMET SERIES – 12 Piece Knife Set with triple riveted synthetic polypropylene handles that resist fading, discoloration, heat and impact. Precisely laser-cut stamped knives offer superb quality and value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great set in terms of a mix of knives that you'll actually use frequently. The shears are a big winner in this house too. We use the steak knives also for cutting smaller items and when my kids help with cooking. I am just so much happier when I cook with good knives. I don't know how my mother in law cooks with the dull junk she has in her drawer! :) I don't know that they are as top top quality as some single Wusthof's I've puchased in the past, but this is a wonderful set. Would make a great gift.. Jml2co. Minneapolis, MN. Mon Feb 03 2020

FALSE ADVERTISING. May hold 12 STEAK knives, but can only hold 1 normal size kitchen knife per slot. Knives sit very loose either way. This product is under review from Wayfair for numerous people having the same issue. Do not buy. They attempted to charge me $15.00 to return ship the item. Called, customer service was accommodating, and now returning for a full refund.. Anonymous. Thu Sep 19 2024
