This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. I’m very happy with this desk! I’m a fairly tall lady (5’10”) and it gets more than tall enough for me to use while standing. Setup took around 3 hours with 2 people (granted we’re not very building savvy) and instructions were fairly cleareasy to follow. When it came to the “use a box for support” part of the manual, we just used throw pillows and it worked fine. Everything was packaged very thoughtfully and the quality of the desk feels very sturdy. Looks great and functional. Only negatives I would say are the two bases/cabinets are not fully functional. The metal legs/posts go right through it in the middle so you only get about half of the cabinet to use, unless you throw small stuff in the back. The bottom of the beams/legs are also not secured to the cabinets so when you set this up, make sure to position it exactly where you want to. When ordering this desk I was a little nervous since it had no reviews but I wanted to give it a chance. And it ended up working out great! The wood is really sturdy and not a cheap material. Assembly was the most challenging part of the process because there are a lot of individual pieces. I felt that some components could have been preassembled at the factory, which would have saved time. That said, if you're patient and take your time, the end result is absolutely worth it.
