The simplistic, functionally accommodating design is ideal for making work life a little easier. With perfectly placed label holders and chrome drawer handles, it makes for an intelligent purchase! After all, it makes cents to look for value. And ain't that a pretty penny!? These flat files are an economical solution for all non-archival storage needs.

I ordered two of these flat flies. They were just as described, although one of the files was dented when it arrived. The dent does not interfere with the functionality of the drawers, so I decided not to return it since my one other return to Wayfair was time consuming and difficult. Generally speaking, I'm happy with the item.. Judith. Philadelphia, PA. Sat Dec 14 2024

We refer to our flat files cabinet as the "big picture files.". In a previous life I had the occasion to look at many large maps found at several near-by college libraries with flat filing systems. I do large format photo printing (30 by 40 inch). I saw that Wayfair offered such map filing cabinets at competitive pricing. With a carpenter we built-in the flat file to support my need for very large photograph storage. The file is perfect. Thank you Wayfair for carrying this equipment.. Robert. San Antonio. I bought this to store stained glass sheets. It is perfect so far. I wasn't sure when I first saw it, but once I got it together it looks very nice and fits the function. I would definitely put it together in the room you are going to use it as it is heavier than it looks and hard to move! You are also only getting one piece. The picture makes it look like two shelves, so its a little misleading.. Dahlia. Casnovia, MI. Sun Mar 03 2024

FUNCTIONAL & UNOBTRUSIVE ! What a terrific addition to my studio ... a place to keep all those important items that I use daily! Up to now, keeping my office tidy has been almost an exercise in futility. No more ‘Sherlock Holmes’ trying to find a clue as to where I placed whatever I need for that particular moment or longer. No worries about this moving around, it’s solid, unlike the plastic trays that lock together and aren’t secure or long lived since they crack, break, come apart at the least movement or fall off the desk because they’re so flimsy. It’s like having a butler that knows just what you need, the moment you need it! Awesome, Wayfair!! You did it again and thank you so much for helping me have the organized home and office I love! I took a chance and ordered an open box for this item. It was package like a new one, however, after unpacking everything and proceeding into the assembly, I found that the plastic piece inside kne of the legs, to receive the caster/wheel was broken and pushed down inside the leg tube and not operable. Since I had it completely unpacked and partly assembled, I decide to try a fix. It was obviously broken. I hade to pry/pull the plastic part up and out. It came out in two pieces, should be one. I tried to glue the pieces together and re-installing. Now it has a loose fit but I was able to get the shaft of the caster wheel in. It is loose but appears to be working. Not at all sure if it will hold up when I get the cart loaded up? I believe this was a return and wasn’t inspected properly or they would have caught this broken critical part. I would like Wayfair or the manufacture to send me a new plastic piece that is inside the leg tube so that I can properly assemble the caster/wheel into the leg.. Rex. NC. Mon Dec 19 2022
