The lamps are well made, with good weight and easy to put together. There was no damage to the shades. The picture shows the lamps with an aged/antique and matte surface - exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the 2 I received were quite “brassy” and glossy. The brass tone is very bright and polished, which gives it more of a bold decorative look rather than a softer brushed or antique brass finish, which I tend to prefer. Depending on your decor style, that may or may not be what you’re looking for. The included bulb is labeled 3000K, but the one that came with mine appeared cooler in tone than expected. I ended up swapping it for a warmer bulb (2850K), and that made the light much cozier. Overall, this is a visually interesting lamp with a unique design that works well as a decorative accent.
