Very cute ceramic lamps! After putting these together there is a slight difference in height. Not a huge deal breaker, but I’ll use on nightstands or separate areas so you won’t notice difference. I chose this set of 2 brass lamps for a new room design project I've been working on. They arrived to my residence undamaged and packed very well. The small product box had me wondering how in the world there's 2 lamps in there, possibly thinking there was a shipping mistake, but there wasn't! LOL! The lamp shades and their frames are packed for efficient shipping. You can see the lamp shade laid flat before it is clipped on the shade frame. The shade is packed wrapped around the lamps so there's no creases or dents. Genius! The 3 levels of lighting is also convenient so you can get the glow you want. Lamp arrived intact, no damage. As soon as I opened the box I realized it was going to live up to the pictures I saw on Wayfair.com. The black shade had no scuff marks and had a nice, black satin sheen as I was hoping for. It makes a beautiful contrast with the brass base and stem and the brass “vent” openings on top. Love the fact that the undersurface of the shade is covered by a white plastic diffuser, it really avoids any glare whatsoever and softens the light that comes from the 3 included LED candelabra bulbs. It paired beautifully with a brass floor lamp that I also ordered from Wayfair for my new mezzanine space.
