Everything was protected, and there wasn’t a single damaged piece. Assembly was simple and straightforward. It took me about 90 minutes from start to finish. They include a small Phillips screwdriver, which is adequate, but I’d recommend using a full‑size screwdriver to make the process even smoother. The instructions were clear, and every part fit exactly as it should. Once assembled, the stand is very solid—not that cheap press‑wood that chips if you look at it wrong. I gave it four stars because two of the boards did not have holes for the screws so I had to figure out the right placement by building it backwards from the last step to the first,and the remote control came broken.Other than that this is a strong solid elegant tv entertainment stand. The fire place was the main reason I wanted this, and it did not disappoint the fireplace ours out plenty of heat. I cannot wait until the weather change because this will be so cozy at night.
