I am really happy with the look of the fireplace mantel and insert. The title suggests its solid wood and Id agree that parts are. However, the top was chipped and was not solid wood underneath. Really nice realistic looking fire. Not real easy to assemble.Husband took lots of breaks due to his bad back. He had a little help from my son. Took around 5-6 hours to assemble. For a person without issues shouldn’t take that long. Fit my son’s 85” TV nicely. Feels sturdy. We like that you can tilt the stand. Gives us peace of mind so the large TV doesn’t feel like it could topple over. There is room on the top shelf for my son’s sound bar which is a plus.. Anonymous. Tue Sep 08 2026
