I was very pleased with the way it came packaged but when I tried to put it on the bed with the pattern vertical it was to short on the sides of the bed and yes I ordered a king package maked as a king so I had to use the comforter horizontally it works but not the look I was going for so if you have a king I would not order this maybe if you have a queen order a king. It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great.
