This is a very large cage. It was time consuming putting together but well worth it in the end. The directions were clear and easy to follow. I did put it together by myself and it took about 2 hours. Comes with a long skinny perch and 2 small food bowls. They are not big enough for my bird but nice to have included. Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house.
