In Turkey, where bathing has been raised to be an art, a flatweave towel is a traditional choice for toweling. Our Mediterranean towels are traditional lightweight Turkish bath towels with a high/low weave for excellent absorption. Woven from yarn-dyed organic cotton and edged in hand-knotted fringe.

I love these towels. My first time trying this type of towel. I’m trying to slowly change my bath items for healthier ones. These are soft but not like a reg towel. They dry the body well and quickly and dry themselves quickly as well. I wish they were not so expensive but I guesss that’s how it goes with choosing healthier options.. Denette. Vista, CA. Citizens of the beach collection are stylish, highly absorbent, fast-drying, and very soft.

Beautiful color, just like photo on website. It could be used for many purposes! My first turkish cotton beach towel. I wasn't sure what to expect, except that reviews on others is that they are very thin. And ones I've seen at the beach appear very thin. This is not very thin, though much thinner than my heavy weight beach towels. I haven't used it on the beach yet. After washing and drying, it came out pretty wrinkled, but it will get messy at the beach anyway.. Kimberly. Carlsbad, CA. Mon Aug 31 2026
